Title: Software Tester Analyst

Job Overview

We are looking for a Software QA Executive to support software testing activities across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The role will focus on test execution, test case preparation, defect management, documentation, and collaboration with development and business teams. The position will also provide opportunities to develop skills in automation testing, API testing, and Agile practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute Functional, Integration, System, Regression, and UAT testing.
• Prepare test data and maintain test cases based on requirements and user stories.
• Identify test scenarios, edge cases, and potential issues.
• Log, track, verify, and close defects while supporting defect triage activities.
• Maintain accurate test results, evidence, documentation, and QA reports.
• Support UAT and post-release validation activities.
• Work closely with Developers, Business Analysts, and QA Team Leads to clarify requirements and resolve testing issues.
• Escalate testing risks and blockers when required.
• Contribute to improving testing processes and QA practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in Software QA / Software Testing.
• Experience with manual testing and Selenium automation fundamentals.
• Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Experience in test case writing, execution, and defect management.
• Basic SQL knowledge for data validation.
• Exposure to API testing using Postman.
• Familiarity with test management tools such as Jira, Zephyr, TestRail, or Azure DevOps.
• Ability to work independently while following guidance from the QA Team Lead.
