Responsibilities:

• With strategic and practical management techniques, plan and manage the activities of production scheduling, control, and administration in support of the activities of production, shipment, revenue goals, inventory goals, and customer service.

• To establish and administer the production schedule in order to attain optimum WIP inventory and linear on-time output.

• Responsible for delivery to customers and providing information for backlog scheduling

• Responsible for providing the projected sales and ensuring the goal is met.

• Maintain good rapport with all customers.

• To support the implementation and approval of changes, improvements, and innovations to the current methods, processes, materials, and equipment to meet the company’s various business objectives.

• To ensure quality plans, procedures, and processes are adhered to to ensure high-quality products are shipped to customers.

Authorities:

Authority is commensurate with the responsibilities, which include, but are not limited to:

• To liaise with customers

• To stop parts from being shipped to Customers if necessary.

• To stop production from issuing parts not relevant to the schedule.

• To stop production from issuing if WIP is too high.

• To involve engineers and vendors in discussions on the pricing and delivery schedule of the tooling and equipment.
