Role Description This is a full-time Financial Advisor role based in Singapore with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing a mix of on-site and work-from-home. The Financial Advisor will provide holistic financial advisory services to individual and corporate clients, including assessing needs, recommending suitable insurance, investment, and retirement solutions, and supporting long-term financial goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting clients, conducting financial reviews, preparing proposals, explaining product features and risks, and updating clients on market and regulatory developments. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, adhering to compliance and ethical standards, collaborating with internal teams, and participating in training and development to stay current on products and industry trends. Building and maintaining strong client relationships and proactively identifying new business opportunities are key aspects of this position.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Financial Planning and Financial Advisory to assess client needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Sound understanding of Finance and Investments to explain products, risks, and potential returns clearly.
- Knowledge of Retirement Planning to help clients plan for long-term income security and protection.
- Relevant academic background in finance, business, economics, or related fields; professional certifications (e.g., CMFAS, CFP, ChFC) are an advantage.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client relationship management skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms.
- High level of integrity, accountability, and commitment to regulatory compliance and ethical conduct.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a performance-driven environment with both team collaboration and independent work.
- Proficiency in basic digital tools and CRM systems; prior financial services or advisory experience in Singapore is preferred.
