Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and strategic General Manager (Restaurant) to oversee daily operations, lead teams, drive profitability, and uphold top food quality and customer service standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth workflow, exceptional customer service, and compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
• Oversee profit and loss statements, set budgets, control inventory and labor costs, and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability
• Recruit, train, schedule, and mentor front-of-house and back-of-house staff to build a collaborative and positive team culture
• Resolve guest feedback promptly and maintain high customer service standards to build strong customer loyalty
• Collaborate with management to plan and execute promotional events, menu updates, and local marketing campaigns to increase foot traffic
• Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, monitor inventory levels to prevent waste, and optimize profit margins

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, Culinary Management, or related field preferred
• Valid Food Hygiene / Food Safety Manager certification preferred
