Job Summary We are seeking an analytical, detail-oriented Test Engineer to join our technical operations and quality assurance team. In this role, you will be the core technical owner responsible for verifying and validating imported products, technical hardware, and associated device software before final export packaging. Operating from our central business hub, you will create comprehensive test plans, simulate real-world operational environments, and detect defects or performance inconsistencies. The ideal candidate will combine technical engineering precision with a thorough understanding of quality standards to ensure that every product passing through our supply chain meets international expectations and regulatory compliance

.Key Responsibilities

• Test Script & Matrix Development: Analyze incoming product specifications, manufacturer blueprints, and technical compliance guides to design detailed test cases, execution matrices, and validation protocols.
• Defect Detection & Analysis: Perform end-to-end product testing, including hardware functionality, electrical tolerance, firmware integration, and durability validation.
• Bug Tracking & Troubleshooting: Identify, record, and categorize defects within the internal quality tracking database; collaborate with global suppliers and engineering units to rectify root causes.
• Automation Framework Support: Develop, deploy, and maintain localized automated testing rigs and validation scripts to maximize overall batch testing efficiency.
• Quality Summarization: Compile comprehensive testing logs, product failure analysis reports, and quality certification briefs for senior operational managers and customs compliance leads.
• Compliance Verification: Cross-check tested goods against domestic and international export/import regulations, safety codes, and industry-specific product certifications.
• Data Governance Adherence: Ensure all test logging, system diagnostics, and supplier interaction datasets strictly comply with internal technical security protocols and the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).

Requirements

• Education: Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related technical discipline.
• Technical Stack: Solid understanding of diagnostic testing equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes) and familiarity with programming or scripting languages (e.g., Python, C++, or SQL) for automated data collection.
• Experience: Prior experience (2–5 years) as a Test Engineer, Quality Assurance Specialist, or Product Validation Engineer—ideally within an import/export, consumer electronics, or manufacturing environment—is highly valued.
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills; professional telephone etiquette and a collaborative, assertive approach to supplier relationship management.
• Core Competencies: Outstanding structural logic, intense attention to detail under tight shipping deadlines, strong diagnostic capabilities, and a resilient team-player mindset.

Additional Information

• Salary Range: S$3,800 – S$6,200 per month (Determined competitively based on specific engineering background and technical capabilities).
• Location: 42 North Canal Road, Singapore 320420.
• Employment Type: Full-time / Contract.
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, standard corporate operational hours.
