Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging teaching in Accounting and related fields.
• Develop and enhance curriculum, course materials and assessments in line with academic and professional standards.
• Supervise student projects, research, dissertations and theses, where applicable.
• Conduct research and contribute to publications, conferences, grants and scholarly activities.
• Support programme development, accreditation, quality assurance and continuous improvement.
• Mentor students and provide academic guidance and professional development.
• Engage with the accounting profession, industry partners and relevant professional bodies to enhance programme relevance.

Requirements

• PhD or Doctoral Degree in Accounting, Accountancy or a closely related field.
• Relevant tertiary teaching experience in Accounting or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices and contemporary developments in the field.
• Strong research, publication and postgraduate supervision experience will be an advantage, particularly for Senior Lecturer.
• Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, ICAEW or equivalent will be an added advantage.
• Experience in curriculum development, accreditation, industry engagement or professional practice will be an added advantage.
• Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.

Pay: From RM3,500.00 per month
