What you'll do:

• Guide the entire QA process from planning through execution by collaborating with developers, product teams, project teams, and business stakeholders to ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
• Define and implement effective test strategies, plans, scenarios, and test cases that address both functional and non-functional requirements for web applications and APIs.
• Develop and enhance test automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium or Playwright with C#, integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment.
• Drive the adoption of automation and continuous testing practices across projects by promoting best practices in Agile and DevOps environments.
• Manage test execution activities including defect tracking, risk assessment, progress monitoring, and release readiness reporting to stakeholders.
• Establish QA standards, processes, and best practices across multiple projects to ensure consistency in quality assurance efforts.
• Monitor testing results, automation coverage, quality metrics, and identify areas for improvement by leveraging modern technology environments.
• Provide regular updates on testing progress, risks, defects, and release readiness to all relevant stakeholders in a clear and collaborative manner.
• Lead, coach, and mentor QA engineers and test analysts by supporting their professional development through training opportunities.
• Promote a strong quality culture within the team by encouraging continuous improvement initiatives and exploring new testing tools or AI-assisted approaches.

What you bring:

Your background as a QA & Test Automation Lead will demonstrate deep expertise in software quality assurance gained over at least six years within the industry. You will have successfully managed end-to-end testing activities across both SDLC and STLC phases while leading teams for three years or more. Your technical proficiency includes hands-on experience building automated tests using frameworks like Selenium or Playwright with C#, as well as integrating these tests into CI/CD pipelines for streamlined deployments. You possess a solid understanding of both functional and non-functional testing methodologies which enables you to design comprehensive test plans tailored for web applications and APIs. Experience working within Agile or DevOps environments has honed your collaborative skills; familiarity with platforms such as Azure DevOps or Jira further enhances your efficiency in managing projects. • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field is required for this position.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in Software QA, Test Automation or Quality Engineering ensures you bring proven expertise to the role.
• At least 3 years of experience in a QA leadership or team lead capacity demonstrates your ability to guide teams effectively.
• Strong experience managing end-to-end testing activities across SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle) is essential for success.
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium or Playwright using C# enables you to build robust automated tests.
• Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines allows for efficient deployment workflows.
• Good understanding of functional and non-functional testing methodologies ensures thorough coverage during test planning.
