Creative Hearts – Centre for Performing Arts is looking for a Music & Performing Arts Teaching Intern to join our team!
This is a hands-on internship for someone who would love to gain real experience in music education, early childhood music and performing arts teaching.
You’ll get to:
Hands-on teaching experience, mentoring and training, exposure to our original Creative Hearts programmes, and the opportunity to develop your confidence as a music educator.
Strong interns may also be considered for future teaching opportunities with Creative Hearts.

Creative Hearts – Centre for Performing Arts is looking for a Music & Performing Arts Teaching Intern to join our team!
This is a hands-on internship for someone who would love to gain real experience in music education, early childhood music and performing arts teaching.
You’ll get to:
- Assist with our music, singing and musical theatre classes
- Support and co-teach our holiday camps
- Learn how to engage and teach young children through music and play
- Help prepare teaching materials, games, props and activities
- Assist with concerts, showcases and performances
- Observe and learn from experienced music and performing arts teachers
- Gradually take on teaching and make-up classes where appropriate
- Gain experience in lesson planning and curriculum development
- Loves working with children
- Has a background in music, singing, piano, musical theatre, early childhood or performing arts
- Is warm, energetic, responsible and confident
- Is willing to learn and get involved
- Can commit for at least 3-4 months
- Bonus if you can play the piano and/or sing!
