Responsibilities

Project Management

• Plan and maintain a monthly content calendar aligned to campaign briefs and business priorities.
• Coordinate shoots, briefs, and timelines with designers, videographers, and external talent.
• Manage publishing schedules using scheduling tools and ensure deadlines and quality checks are met.
• Report weekly on content performance and recommend next steps to improve results.

Content Production

• Create native social content, including short-form video, carousels, captions, and static posts tailored to each platform.
• Edit short videos and produce simple motion assets using tools like Canva or a basic video editor.
• Write clear, engaging copy that matches brand tone and mobilises audiences to act or comment.
• Develop variations and A/B test creative to learn what drives engagement.

Community & Performance

• Manage day-to-day community interactions and comment moderation with professional, timely replies.
• Support social listening and flag trends or reputation issues to the team.
• Use analytics to measure reach, engagement, and conversion and translate data into simple recommendations.
• Collaborate with paid media colleagues to align organic content with promotional plans.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in social media, content creation, or digital marketing roles.
• Diploma or degree in Mass Communication, Marketing, Media, or related field preferred.
• Portfolio or links to social accounts showing short-form video, copy, and content series you created.
• Experience working in a small agency or in-house team is an advantage.

Hard Skills & Knowledge

• Proven skills in Content Creation and Content Management across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and X.
• Familiarity with Social Media Strategy, Social Media Marketing, and Social Media Management tools.
• Basic video editing and asset preparation skills using Canva, CapCut, or Premiere Rush.
• Comfortable reading analytics and turning numbers into practical content changes.

Soft Skills & Qualities

• Strong Interpersonal Communications and a calm approach to community commenting and engagement.
• Curiosity about Political Philosophy or Political Communications is welcomed if producing issue-based content.
• Organised, reliable, and able to manage multiple briefs with clear communication.
• Creative thinker who cares about storytelling and the real-world impact of content.
