Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Responsibilities- Architectural Strategy & Vision: Own and define the long-term technical roadmap and module specifications, establishing design methodologies across all full-custom projects.
- Physical Implementation Oversight: Provide strategic direction for complex floorplanning and layout activities, steering optimizations for advanced process nodes.
- Technical Roadmap & Execution: Oversee full-custom design flows, driving breakthrough innovations and setting technical standards for custom circuit execution.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Drive technical problem-solving with system designers and cross-functional leads to align analog circuit models with broader product architectures.
- Tape-out Sign-off & Delivery: Serve as the final technical sign-off authority for tape-out readiness, ensuring complete physical verification and layout integrity (GDSII).
Leadership & People Management- Team Mentorship & Guidance: Mentor and guide circuit design engineers, encouraging technical excellence, best practices, and continuous learning within the team.
- Performance Management: Conduct regular performance evaluations, establish clear OKRs, and provide constructive feedback to foster accountability and high performance.
- Resource Allocation & Planning: Manage team bandwidth, project schedules, and headcount planning to ensure project milestones and tape-out schedules are met efficiently.
- Career Development: Support long-term growth for team members through individual development plans, skill enhancement opportunities, and leadership pathway coaching.
Position Requirements- Experience: Minimum 10+ years of hands-on experience in IP or SoC design, focusing on mixed-signal IO or system validation.
- Experience: Extensive hands-on experience in IP or SoC design, specifically in mixed-signal IO or system validation.
- Technical Skills: Mastery of full-custom design methodologies and proficiency with standard EDA tools for circuit design and simulation. Strong understanding of analog circuit design, signal integrity, and device characteristics.
- Proficient with EDA tools: Cadence, Hspice, Virtuoso, Spectre, AMS, etc.
- Strong foundation in analog circuit design and signal integrity.
- Preferred Domains: Experience in designing LVDS, DDR3/4/5, LPDDR4/5, ADC, PLL, or Clock Networks.
- Language & Communication: Excellent communication skills.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or above (Microelectronics or Integrated Circuits preferred).
