Role Description This is a contract, on-site Document Control Lead role based in Serendah. The Document Control Lead oversees the creation, organization, and maintenance of project documentation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company standards and client requirements. Responsibilities include managing document registers, controlling document versions, coordinating distribution and approvals, and implementing document control procedures across project teams. The role involves reviewing documents for quality and consistency, monitoring deadlines, supporting audits, and ensuring records are properly archived and retrievable. The Document Control Lead collaborates closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to maintain efficient information flows and support successful project delivery.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in documentation and document management, including organizing, tracking, and maintaining project documents.
- Candidates should possess experience in records management, covering retention, archiving, and secure retrieval of project and corporate records.
- Candidates should possess capabilities in document review and quality control to verify accuracy, completeness, and adherence to standards and procedures.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with electronic document management systems and MS Office or equivalent productivity tools.
- Relevant experience in construction, engineering, or infrastructure projects, preferably in a document control or project administration role.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple document workflows and deadlines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams on-site.
- Diploma or degree in a relevant field (such as engineering, construction management, information management, or business) is advantageous.
