We’re looking for a skilled and passionate Kitchen Assistant to join our kitchen team at 8 Korean BBQ! If you have strong culinary skills, enjoy working with quality meats, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to meet you.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and portion meats, banchan, and sauces ahead of service
• Support chefs with basic food prep, marinating, and mise en place
• Keep kitchen stations, equipment, and utensils clean and sanitised
• Receive, store, and rotate stock following FIFO practices
• Wash and maintain kitchenware, crockery, and work areas
• Follow SFA food safety and hygiene standards at all times
• Help keep service running smoothly during busy periods
• Assist with basic cooking and plating tasks as guided by chefs

What We're Looking For

• Willing to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment
• Basic food hygiene knowledge a plus
• Team player, punctual, and willing to learn
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads

Pay: $2,300.00 - $2,700.00 per month

Work Location: In person
