We are seeking an experienced AS/400 COBOL Developer to provide L2 application support and development for Channels & Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) systems within a Core Banking environment, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of business-critical systems.

We are seeking an experienced AS/400 COBOL Developer to provide L2 application support and development for Channels & Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) systems within a Core Banking environment, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of business-critical systems.
Responsibilities
- Provide L2 support for Channels & EAI applications on the AS400 platform.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using RPG, C, and/or Java.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and perform incident resolution.
- Support payment systems and ensure smooth transaction processing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve incidents and implement improvements.
- Maintain documentation for systems, processes, and fixes.
- Work with DevOps practices to streamline development and deployment processes.
- Manage and support ALDON for software deployment automation on AS400.
Must-have:
- Bachelor's degree in any related discipline.
- Applicants must have the legal right to work in Malaysia. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
- Hands-on experience with the AS400 platform and DB2 database.
- Proficiency in RPG, C, and/or Java programming.
- Experience in L2 support, including incident handling and issue resolution.
- Experience working with the ALDON deployment tool.
- Exposure to Core Banking environments.
- Knowledge of system integration and middleware concepts.
- Experience in automation and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of banking/payment regulations and workflows.
- Experience with AS/400 COBOL 400 programming language.
- Understanding of Channels & EAI systems.
- Basic knowledge of DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with payment processing systems.
