Job Summary

The Site Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating and supervising daily site activities to ensure that work is completed safely, according to approved drawings, project specifications, quality requirements and the agreed schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise daily site activities.
• Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed according to schedule.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal project teams.
• Review engineering drawings, technical specifications and work requirements.
• Provide technical guidance to site supervisors, workers and subcontractors.
• Arrange the required manpower, materials, tools and equipment.
• Ensure all work complies with approved drawings, quality standards and safety requirements.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor the quality of completed work.
• Attend site meetings and provide updates on project progress.
• Identify and resolve technical or operational issues at the site.
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports, site records and other required documentation.
• Assist in preparing method statements, risk assessments, permits and material submissions.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, rectification work and project handover.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure outstanding work is completed promptly.
• Immediately report project delays, safety concerns and technical issues to the Project Manager.
• Carry out any other project-related duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or a related Engineering discipline.
• At least 2 years of relevant site or project experience is preferred.
• Fresh graduates with suitable qualifications may also be considered.
• Experience in industrial, construction or engineering projects will be an advantage.
• Able to read and understand engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Good planning, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Able to work independently and as part of a project team.
• Willing to work at various project sites in Singapore.

• Employment is subject to eligibility and approval for a valid Singapore work pass.

Pay: From $1,500.00 per month
