As an Assistant Procurement Manager – Generic Equipment at Nestlé Global Procurement, your mission is to manage commercial and sourcing activities for the Generic Equipment spend in scope at a global level, leveraging strategic sourcing processes, tools and policies to drive value, efficiency and sustainable business results. We operate on a truly global scale, bringing together over 40 nationalities across three dynamic hubs in Switzerland, Panama, and Malaysia. How you’ll make an impact as an Assistant Procurement Manager – Generic Equipment

• Support the implementation of global category strategies and manage category spend across Asia, Oceania and Europe.
• Lead sourcing projects and deliver cost savings through Strategic Sourcing methodologies, including RFIs/RFPs, e-auctions, standardization, spend aggregation and best-cost-country sourcing.
• Leverage AI-enabled tools to accelerate sourcing activities and maximize value creation.
• Foster a competitive supplier environment and support contract negotiations to secure optimal commercial agreements.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective deployment of category strategies across markets.
• Ensure compliance with Nestlé's Corporate Business Principles, procurement policies and standards.

What will make you successful

• Degree in Engineering, Science, Procurement, Supply Chain or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of sourcing experience, ideally within technical categories; experience with laboratory supplies, services or equipment is a plus.
• Strong ability to work effectively in a complex, cross-functional and global environment.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across a global network.
• Proven knowledge of strategic sourcing tools, category management and risk management.
• Fluency in English, any other language considered as asset.
