Position Summary:
Provides strategic leadership and direction for the Process Engineering organization to drive world-class manufacturing performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost, yield, capacity, and productivity. Responsible for developing and executing process engineering strategies that support business growth, manufacturing competitiveness, new product introductions, and operational excellence.
Leads a team of engineering managers, engineers, and technical professionals to ensure robust process control, technology deployment, yield optimization, and continuous improvement across manufacturing operations. Partners closely with Site Leadership, Manufacturing, Product Engineering, R&D, Supply Chain, and Quality to establish long-term manufacturing capability and achieve business objectives.
What You Will Do:
Strategic Leadership & Business Excellence
- Define and execute the Process Engineering strategy aligned with site and business objectives.
- Develop long term technology, capacity and capability roadmaps to support future business growth.
- Establish performance goals and operational KPIs across yield, cycle time, cost, OEE, delivery and productivity.
- Drive a culture of operational excellence through data-driven decision making, lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Partner with Site Leadership team to drive factory competitiveness and operational performance.
Process Engineering Leadership
- Provide end-to-end leadership for Process Engineering functions across all manufacturing processes.
- Drive process capability improvements to achieve world-class performance in quality, yield, reliability and cost.
- Ensure robust process controls and risk mitigation plans are in place to prevent manufacturing excursions.
- Lead process standardization initiatives across manufacturing operations and support best-practice sharing across sites.
- Sponsor and oversee major improvement projects with significant business impact.
Leadership & Organization Development
- Provide technical leadership and develop engineering capabilities within the assigned manufacturing area.
- Coach, mentor, and develop managers and team members to strengthen technical expertise and leadership capability.
- Optimize organizational structure and resource allocation to meet operational priorities and business objectives.
- Lead cross-functional and cross-site initiatives to improve operational performance and support business objectives.
Governance & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, security, and regulatory requirements.
What You Will Bring (REQUIRED Qualifications):
- Min 5 years in the managerial management capacity.
- Extensive experience in semiconductor manufacturing with proven leadership of Process Engineering organizations in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge on structured improvement and problem solving approach.
- Good organization, planning, and communication skills.
- Project management and ability to work with cross function teams.
