Role Summary

We are seeking a motivated Full Stack Java Developer with 3-7 years of software development experience and practical familiarity with Java, Spring Boot, React, cloud platforms and microservices. The successful candidate will develop secure, scalable enterprise applications and collaborate with architects, analysts, DevOps engineers and product teams across the software delivery lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Backend and Microservices Development

· Design, develop, test and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.

· Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices using established design patterns.

· Implement business logic, data access components and integrations with internal and external systems.

· Troubleshoot defects and improve application performance, resilience and maintainability.

Frontend Development

· Develop responsive web applications and reusable user-interface components using React.

· Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and manage application state effectively.

· Apply modern JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML and CSS practices to deliver accessible and consistent user experiences.

· Perform browser compatibility testing and resolve frontend defects.

Cloud, DevOps and Quality

· Support application deployment and operation on AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.

· Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated builds, testing and release processes.

· Use Git for source control and support containerized deployments using Docker; Kubernetes exposure is advantageous.

· Write unit and integration tests, participate in code reviews and follow secure coding standards.

Agile Delivery and Collaboration

· Work with solution architects, business analysts and stakeholders to clarify requirements and translate them into technical tasks.

· Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, demonstrations and retrospectives.

· Produce technical documentation and share knowledge with team members.

· Take ownership of assigned deliverables and escalate delivery risks promptly.

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline.

· 3-7 years of professional software development experience, preferably in enterprise web applications.

· Hands-on experience with Java and practical familiarity with Spring Boot and React.

· Understanding of object-oriented programming, REST APIs, microservices and relational databases.

· Experience working in Agile or Scrum delivery teams.

· Good analytical, problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

· Exposure to AWS or Azure cloud-native application services and monitoring tools.

· Experience with API management, event-driven integration or distributed systems.

· Relevant cloud or development certification, such as Microsoft Azure Developer Associate or AWS Certified Developer.

· Experience delivering solutions in enterprise, public sector, healthcare, financial services or other regulated environments.
