Software Engineer – Full Stack
One of our big tech clients is looking for an experienced Software Engineer to build and scale high-quality products used across global markets. You will work across frontend and backend systems, own features end-to-end, and collaborate closely with engineering, product, design, and operations teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deliver complex software features end-to-end.
- Build frontend applications, APIs, and backend services using technologies such as JavaScript, Python, and PHP/Hack.
- Work with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
- Participate in technical design and architecture discussions.
- Build scalable, reliable systems capable of supporting large numbers of users.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Support, Platform, and Operations teams.
- Write unit and end-to-end tests to ensure software quality.
- Take ownership of projects throughout the full software development lifecycle.
- Contribute to automation and improvements across engineering and operational processes.
Requirements
- 2 - 4 years of strong full-stack software engineering experience.
- Experience delivering products through the full SDLC.
- Strong experience with JavaScript and at least one backend programming language such as Python or PHP.
- Experience with React, Angular, Vue, or similar frontend frameworks.
- Experience with Git, Mercurial, or similar source-control tools.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience delivering complex technical projects involving multiple teams.
- Ability to influence technical decisions and work effectively with senior engineers.
Nice to Have
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or another STEM discipline.
- Strong SQL and database experience.
- Experience working with multiple programming languages in production.
- Experience building enterprise-grade or large-scale consumer applications.
- Support engineering experience.
- Experience with privacy-focused or advertising-related products.
This is an initial contract role that is renewable.
