The Centre of Excellence for Extended Reality Technology & AI (COEXRT-AI) is a national hub focused on innovation, talent development, and industry transformation in XR and AI.
Role Description
COEXRT AI is looking for passionate educators to deliver hands-on STEM and AI programmes at international schools, helping students understand and use AI responsibly.
What you'll do:
️ Deliver engaging STEM and AI lessons to primary and secondary students
️ Guide students through practical projects in coding, robotics and AI tools
️ Teach responsible and ethical use of AI
️ Prepare lesson plans and assess student progress
️ Work with school teachers and coordinators
What we're looking for:
️ Background in STEM, IT, Education, Engineering or a related field
️ Strong communication skills and confidence teaching children and teenagers
️ Fluent English; Bahasa Malaysia is an advantage
️ Prior teaching or training experience is a plus

️ Full training provided, no prior AI expertise required

Qualifications
- Strong STEM foundation with proficiency in mathematics, computer science, or engineering, and solid understanding of AI concepts (e.g., machine learning basics, data analysis).
- Experience in teaching, training, or facilitation, including curriculum development, instructional design, and classroom or lab management.
- Ability to use educational technology and software tools, with familiarity in programming languages or platforms commonly used in AI and XR (e.g., Python, relevant frameworks) considered an advantage.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with capacity to explain complex technical topics clearly to learners with varied backgrounds.
- Demonstrated collaborative mindset, problem-solving abilities, and commitment to inclusive, learner-centered teaching practices.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a STEM, AI, computer science, engineering, or related discipline; teaching certification or prior instructor experience is an asset.
- Interest in extended reality technologies and willingness to continuously upskill in XR and AI to keep course content current and industry-relevant.
