Job Description: Sales Assistant – Grocery

Location: Village Grocer SKS City Mall, Johor

Department: Grocery

Role Overview

As a Sales Assistant in the Grocery section, your role is to ensure that our grocery is full displayed, well-stocked, and handled with care — while delivering friendly and knowledgeable service to every customer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing the stock arrangement.
  • Assist customers with product selection and provide recommendations
  • Prior experience in retail is an advantage
  • Friendly, proactive, and customer-focused attitude
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and lift moderate weights
  • Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
  • Replenish stock and rotate items to ensure optimal shelf life
  • Handle weighing, pricing, and packaging of produce
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the department
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily sales and service goals

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract

Pay: From RM2,000.00 per month
