Job Description: We are seeking an experienced SAP Datasphere Consultant with a strong background in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and deep expertise in SAP HANA and/or BW/4HANA. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience delivering at least one end-to-end SAP Datasphere implementation, with a strong focus on data modelling, integration, and analytics enablement. Key ResponsibilitiesLead and contribute to the design and implementation of SAP Datasphere solutions.Develop, optimize, and maintain data models within Datasphere, including:oAnalytical datasetsoData layers (e.g., staging, business, consumption)oSemantic modeling and relationshipsIntegrate data from various SAP and non-SAP sources into Datasphere.Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data models.Design and implement end-to-end data flows, ensuring data quality, governance, and performance.Work in SAC to develop reports and dashboardsSupport data virtualization and replication strategies within Datasphere.Apply best practices in data architecture, modelling standards, and performance tuning.Support in Space Mngt in Datasphere and recommendation on sizing and architectureRequired Skills & ExperienceProven experience with SAP Datasphere, including at least one full lifecycle implementation.Strong expertise in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC):oStory building, modelling, and live/data import connectionsSolid background in SAP HANA and/or BW/4HANA (minimum 3-5+ years).Deep understanding of data modelling concepts in Datasphere, including:oViews (graphical and SQL)oFact and dimension modellingoBusiness layer modellingoData access controls and semantic usageExperience with data integration techniques (replication flows, data flows, virtual access).Proficiency in SQL and data modelling best practices.Understanding of data warehousing concepts (e.g., star schema, layered architecture).Experience working in agile delivery environments.Preferred QualificationsExperience with SAP BW/4HANA transformations and modelling.Knowledge of SAP Data Intelligence / SAP Integration Suite is a plus.Familiarity with cloud data platforms and hybrid architectures.SAP certifications in Datasphere, SAC, or BW/4HANA are advantageous.Soft SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent stakeholder communication and requirement-gathering skills.Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.Proactive mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.Key Differentiators (Nice to Have)Exposure to governance, security, and data cataloging within Datasphere.SummaryThis role is ideal for a consultant who combines hands-on Datasphere delivery experience with a strong legacy SAP data platform background (HANA/BW/4HANA) and the ability to deliver modern, scalable data models integrated with SAC analytics.
