Job Summary
Plan, organize, and lead construction projects by managing teams, schedules, budgets, and compliance to ensure timely delivery of quality outcomes within regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
Develop and manage detailed project timelines, budgets, and resource plans to ensure efficient construction project execution
Ensure all construction activities comply with building codes, safety regulations, and legal requirements
Lead and coordinate project teams including architects, contractors, and stakeholders to achieve project goals on time and within budget
Monitor project progress continuously and implement adjustments to maintain schedule and budget adherence
Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to develop comprehensive project plans and technical specifications
Design and enforce quality control procedures to maintain high construction standards
Provide technical guidance and support to project teams to resolve issues and optimize performance
Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation and records
Review and approve project plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure alignment with project objectives
Communicate project status, risks, and opportunities clearly to stakeholders and senior management
Lead project meetings to facilitate effective communication and decision-making among team members
Assist in developing cost estimates and managing project financials including subcontractor billings and pay applications
Support site safety documentation and coordination to uphold safety standards
Assist project managers with assigned tasks to ensure smooth project operations
Required competencies and certifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
Minimum of 4 years of experience in construction project management
Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and regulations
Proficiency in project management software and tools
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
Knowledge of budgeting and financial management
Experience managing and supervising construction teams
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Experience managing large-scale construction projects
