We are seeking a Contract Clerk specializing in Tender & Cost Management to join our Tender Division. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the front end of projects, influencing pricing strategies, commercial positioning, and project feasibility from inception.

You will be involved in multiple tenders across different project types, working closely with planners, engineers, and management to ensure competitive, accurate, and commercially sound submissions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Administration Work

• Compile, update, and maintain tender and contract-related records and data.
• Manage systematic filing and documentation, both hardcopy and electronic.
• Prepare basic correspondence, schedules, and internal records as required.
• Arrange meetings and provide administrative coordination support.

2. Tender Involvement

• Assist in the preparation of Bills of Quantities (BQ) under supervision.
• Assist in the preparation of MBD documents and pricing formats.
• Prepare and update Tender Information Reports and related documentation.
• Compile tender requirements in accordance with submission checklists and instructions.
• Assist in organizing, checking, and compiling tender submission documents to ensure completeness and compliance.

3. QS Support

• Assist the QS team with basic measurements and quantity take-offs when required.
• Assist in following up with subcontractors on quotation submissions.
• Carry out any other administrative or support duties as assigned by the team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree / Post Graduate Diploma / Professional Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience (Executive level).
• Experience or strong interest in tendering, cost estimation, and commercial evaluation.
• Able to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and tender documentation.
• Willing to be based at Sungai Way, Petaling Jaya.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From RM2,500.00 per month
