Job Title: Mid-Level Accountant / Senior Executive Accountant

​Location: Melaka - Hybrid (initially) - may transit to office-based

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: RM 3,500 – RM 7,500 / month (commensurate with experience; targeting ~RM 5,000 for 3 years' experience)

​About the Role

​We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Mid-Level Accountant to manage and oversee full-set accounting functions. In this role, you will take ownership of day-to-day financial operations, internal/external audit support, and financial analysis while offering guidance to junior staff.

​Key Responsibilities

​Full-Set Accounting: Independently manage and maintain full sets of accounts.

​Financial Analysis: Perform variance analysis and routine financial reporting to support management decisions.

​Audits & Compliance: Coordinate, assist, and assist with internal and external audits to ensure reporting compliance.

​Team Guidance: Oversee and review work completed by junior accounting staff.

​Software Management: Utilize cloud accounting software (specifically Xero) for ledger updates, reporting, and reconciliations.

​Requirements & Qualifications

​Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on accounting experience (3–6 years preferred).

​Software Proficiency: Proven, hands-on experience using Xero accounting software is required.

​Education/Certification: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or progress toward a professional accounting qualification).

​Desirable Experience: Prior experience working with Australian accounting standards, tax, or clients is highly desirable (though not strictly essential).

​Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and time-management skills with high attention to accuracy.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM7,500.00 per month
