Primary Job Purpose:

Based on Market Trends, Customer Inquiries, Commercial needs create Products that fit in our categories and can be applied and produced with scale in our Production.

Key Accountabilities:

• Manage the full delivery of NPD projects against marketing briefs, executed using agreed development and Gate-Stage processes, meeting the action standards required in terms of consumer acceptance, quality and regulatory requirements and manufacturing capability.
• Develop, communicate, and manage project timelines and key milestones highlighting and mitigating risks and detailing requirements.
• Time management, Innovation process control, Market Brief on Product Launches
• Sound understanding of end-to-end Food Manufacturing processes
• Close working relationship with Procurement and QA for sourcing and vetting of new Raw materials – compliance
• Close working collaboration with Operations and QA to establish production process and Product Spec Sheets
• Establish Shelf-Life studies for existing and New Products + Categories – in collaboration with the QA Team.
• Comply to FSSC requirements on R&D Process control
• Needs to keep abreast with market and Innovation Trends as well Competitor Bench Marking – close workings with marketing Team

Experience and Skills Required:

• Certified Food Science background with Major in Food Technology
• 5 years related Job Scope in the bakery Industry
• Proven working experience as a product developer or in a related field
• Creative and innovative thinking skills

Soft Skills and Other Requirements:

• Good Microsoft Office Skills
• Has the ability to work as a part of a multifunctional team.
• Able to work independently
• Good Team-Work and good Interpersonal Skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
