About the Opportunity

We are looking for a commercially minded Strategy & Business Development professional to support business growth and key strategic initiatives.

Working closely with senior management, you will evaluate new markets and business opportunities, develop strategic recommendations, and take ownership of key projects from planning through execution.

This is not a traditional sales-focused Business Development role. The position combines strategy, business development and project management, with exposure to international expansion, strategic partnerships, business planning and organisation-wide initiatives.

What You’ll Do

• Analyse markets, industries and business opportunities to identify new areas for growth
• Evaluate potential strategic partnerships, M&A opportunities and other business initiatives
• Develop business insights and recommendations to support management decision-making
• Drive strategic projects from planning through implementation, including defining objectives, milestones and action plans
• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and resources to ensure successful project delivery
• Support international market and business expansion opportunities
• Lead internal initiatives focused on process improvement, business effectiveness and organisational development
• Prepare business analyses, project updates and management presentations for business reviews
• Take ownership of other strategic initiatives and special projects as required

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management or a related discipline; MBA would be advantageous
• Around 5 years of experience in Strategy, Consulting, Business Development, Project Management or a related field
• Experience within FMCG, manufacturing or an international business environment would be advantageous
• Strong strategic, analytical and commercial mindset with the ability to translate complex issues into practical action plans
• Proven experience managing projects from planning through execution
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills, including working with senior stakeholders
• PMP certification is highly preferred
• Self-driven and comfortable taking ownership of projects independently
• Willing to travel overseas when required
