Key Responsibilities:

Market Research and Analysis:

• Conduct market research to identify potential sales channel or sales accounts, and market trends. ( E.g. East Coast, Sarawak)

• Analyse competitor offerings and strategies to identify opportunities for differentiation.

Client Relationship Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with government bodies, understanding their needs and preferences.

• Act as a liaison between government bodies and the company, ensuring smooth communication and exceptional service. (e.g. Water Authorities, Certification Bodies, etc.)

New Opportunities:

• Identify and establish new sales opportunities. E.g. new sales channels / sales accounts.

• Negotiate terms and conditions of agreements for the new sales channels / sales accounts

Business Performance:

• Conduct an analysis and present the company’s business performance on a quarterly basis ( e.g. sales performance by segment and why the change? )

Management Report:

• Provide regular reports on his/her and company’s achievements for market research and analysis, client relationship management with government bodies, new opportunities and business performance as above.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field

• Proven experience as a Business Development Executive or in a similar sales role.

• Strong understanding of the industry/sector, market and trends.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

• Ability to build and maintain lasting client relationships.

• Self-motivated, target-driven, and results-oriented.

• Proficient in MS Office ( Word, Excel & PowerPoint )

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Willingness to travel as required / instructed.
