About the role
This role involves managing a full set of accounts including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), general ledger and bank reconciliations, with responsibility for month-end closing and financial reporting.
Job Responsibilities
Handle full set of accounts including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), general ledger and bank reconciliations.
Record and review sales, revenue, purchases and operating expenses
Perform month-end closing and prepare monthly management accounts on a timely basis.
Prepare and maintain balance sheet schedules, including AR/AP ageing, accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, intercompany balances and other relevant accounts.
Monitor cash flow and working capital requirements, including preparation of cash flow forecasts and planning of upcoming payments.
Manage and monitor AP financing / trade financing facilities, including drawdowns, utilisation, maturity dates and repayment schedules.
Assist in audit, tax and statutory reporting matters and provide supporting schedules/documents.
Support the Finance Manager / Group Finance team on ad-hoc financial analysis, reporting and other finance-related matters.
Requirements
Diploma / Degree in
Accounting or Finance
Minimum
2–3 years of relevant accounting experience
Hands-on experience in handling
full set of accounts and month-end closing
.
Good understanding of accounting principles and preparation of management accounts and balance sheet schedules.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
Able to work independently, manage deadlines of assigned accounts.
Good communication skills and comfortable liaising with internal stakeholders, banks, auditors and external parties.
