Overview:

Our client, a multinational company, is looking for a Legal Executive / Paralegal to provide administrative and legal support to its in-house legal team.This role is suitable for an LLB graduate who wishes to build a long-term career in legal support rather than qualify and practise as a lawyer.

Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative and legal support to the Legal Counsel and legal team
• Assist with the preparation and drafting of simple template agreements, letters and other legal documents
• Review documents and ensure that the relevant information and supporting documents are complete
• Organise, maintain and update legal files, records, contracts and documentation
• Assist with document execution, filing, tracking and follow-up
• Coordinate with internal departments and external parties on legal and administrative matters
• Conduct basic legal research when required
• Assist with other legal support and administrative duties assigned by the Legal Counsel

Requirements:

• Possess an LLB or equivalent law degree
• 2 -6 years of relevant working experience
• Experience as a Paralegal, Legal Executive or in a similar legal support position, whether in a law firm or an in-house legal department
• Does not hold the CLP or any equivalent professional legal qualification
• Is not a qualified lawyer and has no intention of pursuing professional legal qualifications or qualifying to practise as a lawyer
• Must demonstrate a stable employment history, preferably with at least 2 years of service in each role
