Job Brief

We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Mobile Developer / Mobile Security Engineer to join our technical services & delivery team. In this role, you will focus on implementing and supporting advanced mobile application shielding, runtime self-protection (RASP), and code obfuscation solutions for our clients, bridging the gap between hardened security and high-performance mobile apps across iOS and Android platforms.

Job Responsibilities

• Project Implementation: Deploy and integrate mobile security solutions (such as code obfuscation, anti-tampering, and RASP) into client applications. Work closely with cross-functional teams and client developers to ensure successful project delivery.
• Mobile Code Integration & Troubleshooting: Review, debug, and assist with native or cross-platform mobile source code (Android/Java/Kotlin or iOS/Swift/Objective-C) to seamlessly embed security SDKs without breaking app functionality or performance.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to mobile application builds, compilation errors, runtime crashes, and security integrations. Provide timely and effective support to ensure seamless operation.
• Demos & Proof of Value (PoVs): Set up technical demos or PoVs for mobile protection solutions and perform walk-throughs with internal teams and customers, highlighting key features and addressing custom requirements.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with software developers, mobile engineers, and other IT professionals to integrate security layers into native or cross-platform mobile architectures.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for mobile SDK integrations, system configurations, processes, and deployment procedures.
• Accountability: Demonstrate dedication and the ability to handle multiple workloads and client projects with minimal supervision and strong ownership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related ICT field.
• Experience as a Mobile Developer, Systems Engineer, or in a similar technical support/implementation role.
• Strong mobile development coding knowledge: Hands-on programming experience with native Android (Java/Kotlin) or iOS (Swift/Objective-C) development, and familiarity with cross-platform frameworks (e.g., Flutter or React Native).
• Familiarity with mobile build systems, dependency management, and compilation pipelines (Gradle, Maven, CocoaPods, Xcode, CI/CD).
• Understanding of mobile security concepts, such as code obfuscation, binary protection, root/jailbreak detection, API security, and encryption principles.
• Good-to-have (Web Development & Integration Knowledge):
• Familiarity with web development fundamentals (HTML/CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, or backend frameworks like Node.js / Python).
• Understanding on how RESTful APIs, WebSockets, or backend communication layers used by mobile applications.
• Good problem-solving and client-facing communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Willing to travel when required to customer sites for project implementation, workshops, and support.
• Resourcefulness: willing to "think-outside-the-box" to solve integration challenges or performance bottlenecks on diverse mobile hardware.
• Fluent in English & Bahasa Malaysia.
