Junior Account AssistantJob Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Account Assistant to support our accounting department in daily financial operations. The successful candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth execution of accounting processes in compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and ensure timely recording
• Maintain proper filing systems and ensure all financial documents are well-organized
• Support bank reconciliation activities and monthly closing processes
• Assist in preparing basic financial reports, schedules, and documentation
• Follow up on outstanding receivables and liaise with internal departments or clients when necessary
• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Provide assistance in audit and tax-related matters as required

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• Basic understanding of accounting principles
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of accounting software is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
• Willingness to learn and develop professionally
• Able to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
