The role is mainly focused on new development and enhancements (around 95%), with limited production support/maintenance.

The candidate will work in an Agile/Scrum environment and will be responsible for application development, Python-based AI/ML pipelines, PostgreSQL database, APIs, CI/CD and Kubernetes-based deployments.

• Python – Mandatory
• Strong hands-on Python development.
• Experience with ML/AI development or pipelines.
• Look for: PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn or similar.
• PostgreSQL – Mandatory
• Strong hands-on experience with PostgreSQL Administration.
• Database schema design
• SQL queries
• Indexing
• Query optimisation
• Performance tuning/troubleshooting
• Database migrations
• Connection pool configuration
• Important: Client specifically wants PostgreSQL Administration experience.
• Kubernetes / Rancher – Mandatory
• Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications in Kubernetes.
• Rancher experience is an advantage.
• Container troubleshooting, logs, resource limits, service restarts, etc.
• GitLab CI/CD – Mandatory
• Experience creating/maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Build, test and deployment automation.
• GitLab merge requests and release processes.
• Red Hat Linux – Mandatory
• Hands-on Linux experience, preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
• Log analysis, service management and shell scripting.

Experience Required

• 3–5 years of overall software development experience.
• At least 2 years of experience working with containerised applications/platforms, preferably Kubernetes.
• Strong hands-on Python development.
• Experience working with ML/AI libraries or pipelines.
• Strong hands-on PostgreSQL Administration.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to RM18,000.00 per month
