Hiring: Product Materials Planning Analyst I

We are looking for a Product Materials Planning Analyst I to join our client’s team on a 1-year contract.

Location: Penang

Employment Type: 1-Year Contract

Experience: 1–3 years

Industry: Manufacturing / Supply Chain

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and manage Excess & Obsolete (E&O) and End-of-Life (EOL) product/material exposure

• Support E&O mitigation plans and work with Buyers, Planners, Purchasing and Manufacturing teams

• Partner with Product Line Management and Business Planning on EOL sales/build plans

• Support new product introduction (NPI) and material readiness for production/ship dates

• Coordinate with Development, Sourcing and Tooling teams on material and capacity/readiness risks

• Work with Buyers on unique-part delivery commitments and material availability

• Identify and escalate material delivery, quality and supply risks and track action items

• Prepare and submit planning, inventory and supply-chain reports accurately and on time

• Work closely with regional/global stakeholders in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Requirements

1–3 years of relevant experience in Material Planning, Supply Chain, Production Planning, Procurement or related functions

Manufacturing / MNC experience preferred

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong MS Office / Excel skills

Experience with MRP / ERP systems; SAP or Oracle exposure is an advantage

Good communication and cross-functional stakeholder management skills

Able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure

Willingness to learn and contribute as part of a team
