Job Purpose

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting & Reporting Intern to join our team at PR1MA Corporation Malaysia. This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to accounting operations, financial reporting, documentation, and related financial processes within a corporate environment.

The intern will work closely with the Accounting & Reporting team and gain practical experience in supporting day-to-day financial activities and reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of financial reports, management reports, schedules, and other accounting-related reports.
• Support the team in data entry, verification, reconciliation, and validation of financial information.
• Assist in compiling and organising supporting documents for audit, financial reporting, and other accounting-related activities.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records and supporting documents in accordance with established procedures.
• Assist in preparing information and documentation requested by internal and external stakeholders.
• Support the team in monitoring and maintaining accurate financial records and documentation.
• Assist with month-end, reporting, and other routine accounting activities as required.
• Perform administrative and ad-hoc tasks related to accounting and financial reporting as assigned by the supervisor.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism when handling financial information.
• Comply with PR1MA's policies, procedures, internal controls, and applicable requirements.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
