Accounting Job Description

Position: Accountant / Accounting Officer

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and accounting entries.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Prepare invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and supporting documents.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet.
• Monitor cash flow and maintain accurate cash records.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Process payroll and maintain payroll-related accounting records when required.
• Prepare documents and information required for tax filing and audits.
• Ensure accounting transactions comply with company policies and applicable accounting standards.
• Maintain organized financial documentation and records.
• Assist management with financial information and accounting-related matters.
• Identify discrepancies and resolve accounting issues in a timely manner.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB, SAP, or similar systems.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of local tax and accounting regulations is an advantage.

Pay: $2,000.00 - $5,000.00 per month
