ACCOUNTS EXECUTIVE – FULL SET & SQL ACCOUNTING

Salary: RM2,500 – RM3,000 per month

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for handling the company’s accounting functions and maintaining a complete set of accounts using SQL Accounting Software.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Handle full set of accounts including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR) and General Ledger (GL).

* Perform daily accounting transactions and ensure proper documentation and record keeping.

* Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, credit notes and debit notes.

* Perform bank reconciliation and monthly account closing.

* Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.

* Maintain accurate accounting records in SQL Accounting Software.

* Prepare schedules and supporting documents for audit and tax purposes.

* Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretary and other relevant parties when required.

* Assist in payroll processing and statutory submissions including EPF, SOCSO, EIS and PCB.

* Ensure accounting records are complete, accurate and up to date.

* Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

* Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.

* Minimum 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience.

* Must have experience handling full set of accounts.

* Experience using SQL Accounting Software is highly preferred.

* Knowledge of SQL Payroll will be an added advantage.

* Good understanding of AP, AR, GL and bank reconciliation.

* Familiar with EPF, SOCSO, EIS and PCB.

* Experience dealing with auditors and tax agents is an advantage.

* Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

* Able to work independently with minimum supervision.

* Responsible, organised and detail-oriented.
