Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced MCI (Materials, Corrosion & Inspection) Specialist with 8+ years of hands-on experience across the end-to-end asset integrity lifecycle within an Oil & Gas operating environment. The ideal candidate should have practical experience in materials selection, corrosion management, inspection planning/execution, and integrity reporting, along with exposure to MCI software and digital integrity-management workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support end-to-end MCI and asset integrity workflows across Oil & Gas operations.
- Provide expertise in materials selection, corrosion monitoring/management, inspection planning, execution, and integrity reporting.
- Review and interpret outputs from corrosion monitoring, RBI, inspection, and integrity management applications.
- Work with stakeholders to identify gaps and opportunities to digitize and modernize MCI workflows.
- Support data input, reporting, and analysis using MCI/integrity management systems.
- Collaborate with Operations, Inspection, Corrosion, Engineering, and Maintenance teams.
- Contribute to improving the efficiency, quality, and reliability of MCI processes and reporting.
Mandatory Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on MCI experience in an Oil & Gas operating environment.
- Strong knowledge across the full MCI lifecycle:
- Materials Selection
- Corrosion Monitoring & Management
- Inspection Planning & Execution
- Integrity Management & Reporting
- Practical experience using or reviewing outputs from MCI applications/tools.
- Experience with RBI (Risk-Based Inspection) and inspection reporting.
- Strong understanding of operational MCI processes and stakeholder challenges.
- Individual contributor with hands-on technical experience, not primarily a people-management background.
Preferred / Added Advantage
- Experience with Meridium/APM, AssetWise, Intelex, or equivalent CMMS/Asset Integrity Management systems.
- Experience with COTS or custom-developed MCI applications.
- Exposure to digital transformation / modernization of MCI workflows.
- Ability to interpret inspection, corrosion, and integrity findings and translate them into actionable insights.
