Intro:
Reporting to Team Manager of Accounting team, you will be responsible for management and financial accounting of assigned client’s portfolio. You will work closely with local and offshore team in an effective manner to motivate and coach the team, to continuously meet clients' expectations, to optimise the work process and to maintain close contacts with clients.
Some of the things you’ll be doing
:
- Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual accounts closing, submit quarterly GST reports timely
- Prepare financial statements in accordance with the provisions of the Singapore Companies Act and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards• Prepare administrative services
- Ensure accuracy of accounts and proper accounting records are maintained in accordance with financial filing requirements and standards
- Assist to review and guide offshore colleague’s deliverable to ensure it meet client’s expectation
- Work closely with colleagues in various department to follow up on billings, accounts receivable matters
- Maintain up to date knowledge in statutory regulations by IRAS, SFRS, identify and adapt quickly to changes in those regulations
- Directly liaise with external auditors and prepare necessary information upon request
- Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned from time to time
What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?
Required level and content of education:
- Chartered Accountant designation or equivalent professional certification would be an advantage
Business experience required:
- Minimum 3 years' working experience in accounts
- Hands on experiences in handling full set of accounts with sound groundings in accounting principles
- Well-versed in Singapore Financial Reporting Standards
- Willing to hands-on and capable of driving changes and initiatives
- Analytical, meticulous with excellent leadership qualities
- Possess professional qualities with good communication, interpersonal skills and teamwork
Language skills/other skills required:
- Fluent in English
- Payroll and Accounting software, MS Office
