Our client is currently looking for a qualified and motivated candidate to join their team:

Position: Electrical Technical Manager

Location: Kota Kinabalu, Sabah

Key Responsibilities

1) Lead and perform electrical installation, maintenance, inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities.

2) Diagnose electrical faults and provide effective technical solutions.

3) Test and commission electrical equipment and systems in accordance with specifications and applicable standards.

4) Prepare technical reports, service reports, inspection records, and other project documentation.

5) Lead and coordinate site activities, technical teams, contractors, and subcontractors.

6) Liaise with clients and project teams to ensure smooth execution of site and project activities.

7) Ensure all works comply with HSE, quality, statutory, and technical requirements.

8) Prepare tender documents, technical submissions, quotations, and related documentation.

9) Monitor contract progress, project deliverables, schedules, and site activities.

10) Provide technical support and guidance to the project and field teams.

Requirements

1) Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline

2) Registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) as a Professional Engineer / Engineer, where applicable.

3) Five (5) to eight (8) years experience in electrical background.

4) Strong hands-on experience in electrical maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning.

5) Experience in leading technical teams and managing site/field activities.

6) Good knowledge of electrical systems and industrial equipment, including:

- LV/HV switchboards

- Control panels

- Generators and alternators

- Electrical motors Industrial electrical equipment and systems

7) Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

8) Able to work independently and manage multiple site activities effectively.

9) Willing to travel and work at client sites when required.
