I am recruiting for an Analog Mixed Signal IC Design position with my client, a cutting-edge technology company in Singapore.
The Analog IC Design Engineer will take a hands-on role in developing advanced analog integrated circuits, contributing to architecture, circuit design, validation and technology development.
Responsibilities:
- Design high performance analog ICs, including amplifiers, voltage regulators, data converters and other analog building blocks
- Develop circuit architectures to meet demanding noise, gain, bandwidth, linearity and power requirements
- Complete schematic design, SPICE simulation, PVT analysis, Monte Carlo simulation and mismatch analysis
- Work closely with layout engineers on floorplanning, matching, shielding and parasitic reduction
- Collaborate with digital, verification and system architecture teams during IC development
- Support silicon bring up, debugging, characterisation and yield optimisation
- Carry out hands on laboratory testing using equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers and network analysers
- Investigate new circuit topologies, advanced CMOS technologies and design techniques
- Contribute to technical specifications, design reviews and development methodologies
- Work with customers and suppliers to understand requirements and translate them into practical IC solutions
Requirements:
- A Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics or a related field
- 3 to 5 years of relevant analog IC design experience
- Strong understanding of device physics, small signal modelling and deep submicron CMOS
- Proven experience designing analog blocks such as LDOs, op amps, bandgaps, PLLs or ADCs/DACs
- Strong knowledge of analog mixed signal design, including noise, linearity, stability, mismatch and low power techniques
- Experience taking analog ICs from specification and design through to silicon validation
- Experience working closely with layout and supporting physical implementation
- Experience with operation in demanding or specialist environments would be advantageous
