Part-Time Doctor — Weight Management, Skin & Hair

Edwin Lim Medical Aesthetic Clinic is seeking a part-time doctor to provide consultations and medical treatments for weight management, hair loss, acne and pigmentation.

Doctors with a general practice or family medicine background are welcome to apply. Prior aesthetic medicine experience is not essential, and comprehensive training will be provided.

The role does not require performing aesthetic injectable procedures such as botulinum toxin, dermal filler or skinbooster injections. There may be opportunities to perform laser treatments, depending on your interest, training and relevant qualifications.

This role does not involve general practice consultations for acute illnesses or routine chronic disease management.

Working Arrangements

• Approximately 2–3 days per week, with working days agreed upon based on your availability and the clinic’s scheduling needs.
• You will be rostered at either our Changi City Point or Lucky Plaza (Orchard) clinic.
• Operating hours: Monday to Friday, 11am–8pm; Saturday, 11am–6pm.
• Each full working day includes a one-hour unpaid lunch break.
• Saturday availability is preferred, with the frequency discussed and agreed upon during the interview.
• Clinics are closed on Sundays and public holidays.

Remuneration

• Base hourly rate of S$110–130, depending on relevant experience and qualifications.
• Commission payable in addition to the base hourly rate.
• The hourly rate and commission structure will be discussed during the interview.

Responsibilities

• Conduct consultations to assess patients’ concerns, medical history and suitability for treatment.
• Develop personalised, evidence-based treatment plans for weight management, hair loss, acne and pigmentation.
• Explain treatment options, expected outcomes, potential risks, downtime and aftercare to help patients make informed decisions.
• Monitor patients’ progress, assess treatment response and adjust treatment plans where appropriate.
• Perform laser treatments where agreed, subject to appropriate training and relevant qualifications.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and uphold high standards of patient safety and professional care.
• Work closely with the Medical Director and clinic team to provide coordinated care and a welcoming patient experience.
• Advise patients on suitable clinic treatments and skincare products based on their individual needs.

Requirements

• Medical degree: MBBS, MBChB, MBBCh, MD or equivalent.
• Registered with the Singapore Medical Council, with a valid practising certificate.
• At least one year of experience in general practice, family medicine or aesthetic medicine.
• Relevant Certificates of Competence for laser procedures are an advantage but are not required to apply.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients.
• A responsible, self-motivated team player with a patient-centred approach.
• Willingness to learn and follow the clinic’s treatment protocols.
• Willingness to work at either clinic location.
