Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Java Developer role based in Bandar Baru Bangi. The Java Developer will design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications, ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability. Daily responsibilities include writing clean and efficient code, implementing and managing microservices, working with the Spring Framework, and integrating services and APIs. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, perform code reviews, and contribute to continuous improvement of software development practices. The Java Developer will also help optimize existing systems, ensure adherence to best practices, and support deployment and maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• Strong Java and general Programming skills, with the ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Experience in Software Development, including application design, implementation, testing, and maintenance.
• Hands-on experience with Microservices architecture, including building, deploying, and scaling distributed services.
• Proficiency with the Spring Framework and related tools within the Java ecosystem.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and version control systems such as Git.
• Understanding of software development best practices, including code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD).
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Good communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, actionable information.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is an advantage.
