Job description
Responsibilities :

• Keeping the library organized and tidy (not everyone will put the book back where they found it)
• Maintaining library catalogues and making them easy to use
• Chasing and collecting books back and enforcing fines
• Ordering and displaying new stock
• Maintaining a quiet environment
• Selecting, developing, cataloguing and classifying library resources
• Answering readers' enquiries
• Using library systems and specialist computer applications
• Liaising with departmental academic staff, external organizations and suppliers
• Ensuring that library services meet the needs of particular groups of users (eg staff, disabled students)
• Supporting independent research and learning
• Developing IT facilities
• Assisting readers to use computer equipment, conduct literature searches etc
• Promoting the library's resources to users
• Maintain the arrangement of computer, keyboards, mice and chairs in order at all times of the day
• Open and close the computer lab.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From RM2,000.00 per month

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)
