Position: Full Stack Engineer

Project Industry: Banking

Employment Type: 6-Months Contract (Renewable)

Working Location: Kuala Lumpur (Onsite)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance web applications based on business requirements.
• Develop and support both frontend and backend components of applications.
• Build and integrate APIs, databases, and third-party systems.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in a timely manner.
• Perform code reviews and follow software development best practices and coding standards.
• Optimize application performance, security, and scalability.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualification & Requirements

Education:

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields

Technical Requirements (Must Have):

• Relevant experience working with C# throughout design, development, and release phases of software development

• Good experience in Web API and REST

• Good knowledge in data persistence (one of ORM, EF, SQL or NoSQL)

• Experience in HTML, CSS and Javascript

Technical Requirements (Good to Have):

• A recent version of .NET Core

• Design patterns (e.g., Gang of Four, SOLID, DDD, Clean Architecture)

• Worked in an agile SCRUM development environment

• Knowledge of analysis and requirements gathering

• Container (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) technology

• CI/CD (e.g., TFS, Azure DevOps, GitHub actions)

• Centralized Logging (e.g., Splunk)

• Experience working in microservices environment

• Experience in Kafka

• Experience with React or Angular

• AI-Assisted Development -Exposure to using Generative AI and AI-assisted development tools to support software development activities
