Job Duties

• Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research, prospecting, and direct approaches to potential clients.
• Conduct direct sales solicitation calls on assigned accounts and new potential clients.
• Organize and conduct sales calls and site inspections, build rapport, and handle objections professionally.
• Drive sales through direct client engagement and digital/online marketing initiatives to expand the customer base.
• Meet and entertain important clients as required to strengthen business relationships.
• Promote hotel and event packages in line with the Standard Operating Procedures and Sales & Marketing strategies.
• Provide timely, high-quality service, sales quotations, and follow-ups to clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
• Maintain a high level of exposure for the property through regular client visits, telephone, email, or other communications.
• Arrange and attend pre- and post-conference meetings with Events and Conventions teams to coordinate client requirements.
• Participate in weekly sales operations and daily section sales meetings.
• Control expenses to meet budget guidelines.
• Prepare and submit reports and sales promotions to the Director of Sales.
• Handle all correspondence and administrative tasks related to assigned accounts.
• Help prepare budgets, marketing plans, and sales action plans as requested.
• Develop special promotions and packages with recommendations to the Director of Sales.
• Represent the hotel at industry and civic organization events, subject to the Director of Sales’ approval.

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,200.00 per month
