To provide dedicated hands-on inventory control support, ensuring 100% accuracy and timely reconciliation across physical stock, manual stock cards, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system records for Raw Materials (RM), Packaging Materials (PM), and Finished Goods (FG).
Key Responsibilities
1. Inventory Control & Reconciliation
- Stock Audit Execution: Conduct daily/weekly cycle counts and routine physical checks for RM, PM, and FG against ERP records and manual stock cards.
- Periodic Stock Takes: Actively participate in monthly, quarterly, and year-end inventory audits and full warehouse stock takes.
- Three-Way Reconciliation: Reconcile physical inventory, stock card balances, and ERP data to ensure total alignment across all tracking channels.
- Variance Investigation: Identify, record, and investigate stock discrepancies to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
2. Stock Movement & Documentation
- Document Verification: Verify all physical stock receipts, issues, transfers, and returns against official supporting documents (e.g., Delivery Orders, Goods Received Notes, Requisition Slips).
- Real-Time Posting: Update physical stock cards and ERP system entries immediately upon material movement to ensure real-time inventory visibility.
- Stock Condition Monitoring: Inspect and track slow-moving, damaged, expired, near-expiry, or irregular stock, ensuring proper segregation and tag logging.
3. Reporting & Governance
- Inventory Reporting: Prepare basic daily/weekly inventory summary reports, stock variance logs, and reconciliation statements for departmental review.
- Variance Escalation: Promptly log and escalate significant stock variances or system discrepancies to the Warehouse Executive / Assistant Manager Supply Chain.
- Process Compliance: Maintain neat, orderly stock records and strictly follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), 5S warehouse organization, and safety guidelines.
Job Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Diploma or SPM / STPM / Higher Secondary qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on experience in stock control, storekeeping, or warehouse administration.
- Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, AutoCount, SQL, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics).
- Practical working knowledge of MS Excel (spreadsheets, basic formulas) and Word.
- Key Competencies:
- High attention to detail and accurate numerical capability.
- Clear understanding of material classifications (Raw Materials, Packaging Materials, Finished Goods).
- Strong sense of accountability, integrity, and proactive problem-solving.
- Good verbal and written communication skills for cross-departmental coordination.
Pay: RM2,100.00 - RM2,700.00 per month
