We are hiring a Full Stack Developer Intern at Multimax!

Multimax is expanding, and we are looking for a motivated Full Stack Developer Intern to join our development team on a large-scale government digital system project. If you enjoy building web applications end to end, from database to user interface, this is a great opportunity to gain real-world experience on a live public sector project.

What You Will Do

• Develop and maintain web application modules using Laravel (PHP) and MySQL.
• Build responsive, bilingual (BM/EN) user interfaces that work across browsers and mobile devices.
• Implement application workflows such as registration, multi-level review, and approval processes.
• Assist in developing secure REST APIs and integrations with external government systems.
• Build dashboards, reports, and data exports (Excel, Word, PDF).
• Support data migration, database design, and documentation activities.
• Participate in testing (SIT/UAT), bug fixing, and code reviews.
• Follow secure coding practices and version control (Git) throughout the development lifecycle.

What We Are Looking For

• Currently pursuing a Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with PHP and Laravel (academic, personal, or freelance projects count).
• Good understanding of MySQL and relational database design.
• Solid foundation in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus responsive design principles.
• Familiarity with Git and basic web security concepts (e.g., SQL injection, XSS, authentication).
• Exposure to REST APIs, role-based access control, or charting libraries is a strong plus.
• Eager to learn, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a team.
• Malaysian citizen.
