Job Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance for mechanical and M&E equipment.
• Perform routine inspection and monitoring of mechanical systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical faults and attend to breakdowns promptly.
• Assist in the operation and maintenance of HVAC, pumps, motors, ventilation systems and other building mechanical equipment.
• Carry out basic repair, adjustment, replacement and servicing of mechanical components.
• Conduct regular site inspections and record equipment conditions and readings.
• Respond to maintenance requests and ensure issues are attended to within the required timeframe.
• Assist contractors and service providers during maintenance and repair works.
• Maintain proper records of maintenance activities, equipment readings and work orders.
• Ensure all works are carried out safely and in accordance with SOPs and site requirements.
• Support the facilities team in day-to-day building operations.
• Perform other technical duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Engineer.

Requirements

• Certificate, SKM, Diploma or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, M&E or related technical field.
• At least 1–2 years of relevant experience in building/facilities maintenance is preferred.
• Experience in HVAC, pumps, motors and other mechanical building services will be an advantage.
• Able to troubleshoot and perform basic mechanical repair and maintenance works.
• Able to read and understand basic technical drawings/manuals.
• Good teamwork, discipline and communication skills.
• Able to work on-site and attend to breakdown/maintenance requirements.
• Willing to work at MITEC, Kuala Lumpur.

Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM2,900.00 per month
