We are inviting candidates for the position of:

UX/UI Designer (6-Month Freelance Contract)

We are seeking an experienced UX/UI Designer to lead the design and delivery of a large-scale corporate website revamp. You will help translate user needs, business requirements and brand guidelines into clear, intuitive and accessible digital experiences.

Your day-to-day work will involve leading the end-to-end UX/UI design process—from information architecture, user journeys and wireframes to responsive interface design, component specifications and design-to-development handover. You will collaborate with internal teams, client stakeholders and developers to ensure that designs are clearly documented, implementation-ready and delivered consistently across the website.

Responsibilities

• UX Research & Analysis: Support discovery activities, stakeholder workshops and the analysis of user and business requirements. Translate findings into actionable UX recommendations and design decisions.
• Information Architecture & User Flows: Develop and refine sitemaps, navigation models, user journeys and task flows to improve content discovery and create an intuitive website experience.
• Wireframing & Prototyping: Create page-level wireframes and interactive prototypes that clearly communicate content hierarchy, functionality, interaction logic and responsive behaviour.
• Responsive UI Design: Support the creation of high-fidelity, responsive interface designs for agreed page templates and components, with consideration for accessibility, usability and consistency across desktop, tablet and mobile devices.
• Additional UI Design Support: Support other day-to-day UI design needs as required, such as creating standalone page mockups, campaign or content-led landing pages, and enhancements to existing digital experiences.
• Design Systems & Components: Apply and contribute to the project’s design system, including UI components, design tokens, responsive rules, interaction states and usage guidelines.
• Design Documentation & Functional Requirements: Assist in preparing detailed, implementation-ready documentation, including template specifications, component behaviours, bilingual layout considerations and functional requirements documentation (FRD).
• Design-to-Development Handover: Work closely with developers to communicate design intent, clarify functional requirements, review implementation and ensure that the final output aligns with the approved designs.
• Collaborative Design Process: Work closely with the project team and client stakeholders to review requirements, present design solutions and incorporate feedback throughout the project.
• Quality Assurance: Support design QA during development by reviewing layouts, responsive behaviour, component usage, accessibility and overall visual consistency.
• Stay Updated: Keep up with the latest UX/UI practices, accessibility standards, design-system approaches, tools and digital technologies.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer, preferably working on corporate, content-rich or large-scale responsive websites.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating experience in information architecture, user flows, wireframing, prototyping and high-fidelity interface design.
• Proficiency in Figma, including components, variants, Auto Layout, prototyping and design-system libraries.
• Strong understanding of responsive web design, accessibility, usability and user-centred design principles.
• Experience creating clear design specifications and preparing files for developer handover.
• Ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into practical, user-friendly design solutions.
• Strong attention to detail, particularly when documenting component states, interaction behaviours and responsive rules.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced project environment, manage priorities and deliver work according to agreed timelines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to clearly explain design decisions and respond constructively to feedback.
• Familiarity with front-end development principles, including HTML, CSS and component-based implementation, is an advantage.
• Experience contributing to design systems, component libraries or detailed implementation documentation is preferred.
• Experience working with functional requirements documentation (FRD), bilingual websites or multilingual layout requirements would be an advantage.
