Responsibilities:
Support the development and implementation of the site’s safety management framework to control workplace risks and prevent incidents.
Ensure site activities comply with Safety Case requirements, including identification and management of major hazards based on ALARP principles.
Monitor and promote compliance with Singapore Workplace Safety and Health requirements and applicable site safety standards.
Implement EHS programmes and initiatives covering workplace safety, health, environmental protection, emergency preparedness, and major accident prevention.
Conduct safety training, workplace inspections, and compliance checks for employees and contractors.
Support safety audits, certification activities, safety meetings, awareness programmes, and other EHS improvement initiatives.
Monitor plant safety performance and recommend improvements where operational or process changes may affect EHS risks.
Prepare EHS reports, audit documentation, records, and regulatory submissions where required.
Perform other EHS-related duties or projects assigned by the Department Head.
Job Requirement:
Diploma or Degree in Environmental, Health & Safety, Engineering, or related discipline.
Fresh graduates are welcome; candidates with 1–3 years of relevant EHS experience will have an advantage.
Exposure to ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 / ISO 45001, SS 651, or related management systems will be advantageous.
Experience or exposure to a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Strong interest in environmental, health, safety, and regulatory compliance work.
Good communication, interpersonal, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
Self-motivated, responsible, and willing to develop a career in plant EHS.
